Sometimes in our quest for beauty, we resrain it to the worst limits
I’ve never believed that writing (or any form of art for that reason) can be judged wholly, and even if that’s true, I don’t think I want to live in such a world.
Rinnan is here because of everyone’s support, but more importantly, the gorgeous words (and art!) of our contributors. We are incredibly blessed to be able to present to you art that is art just because.
We don’t sort randomly because we think all art deserves a chance, we sort randomly because we know that all art is wonderful and lovely, and that human biases should not touch it.
Nevertheless, we’ve been able to string together a beautiful issue for all of you, from sheet music to the sea and from a town centre to skittles.
I really hope this was worth the wait.
